CAMPAIGN COMMUNICATIONS
From Message to Movement
Building an integrated communications and visual strategy for the re-election campaign of Sean Elo-Rivera for San Diego City Council District 9.
One Campaign. Many Audiences. One Recognizable Voice.
A political campaign communicates in dozens or different ways - from a mail piece arriving at someone's home to a social post seen for a few seconds, a flyer handed to a voter at their door, or a video capturing a candidate talking with neighbors.
The challenge was making all of those moments feel connected.
During Sean Elo-Rivera's 2024 re-election campaign for San Diego City Council District 9, I helped translate the campaign's values, record, and vision into communications that were clear recognizable, and grounded in the communities we were trying to reach.

What This Taught Me
This project reflects the kind of communications work I enjoy most: finding the story at the center of something complicated, and bringing it to life across channels in a way that informs, inspires, and moves people to action.
The result was a communications ecosystem that carried a consistent campaign story across digital platforms, voters' mailboxes, neighborhood canvasses, community events, and Election Day outreach.
